Azalai is strongest when its warmth is set against dryness. Blood orange and mint keep the opening bright, while saffron and dried fruit introduce richness before incense, amber and gum acacia give the composition greater depth. The sweetness never fully settles into gourmand territory; a dry, resinous character keeps the fragrance expansive rather than heavy. It will particularly reward someone drawn to amber fragrances with colour and warmth, but looking for something less conventionally plush and more atmospheric in its construction.
