The Extrait is not simply a stronger Un Air d’Apogée. Raspberry changes the balance by adding a tart, darker fruit accent against tobacco and leather, while the higher concentration gives the base more persistence and weight. The familiar honeyed floral core is still recognisable, but the composition feels less airy and more physical. It is best for someone who likes the original idea but wants greater density, darker texture and a more assertive evening presence. The difference is meaningful enough to justify both versions in a curated range.
