Victoria is Frassaï’s tribute to Argentine writer, editor and publisher Victoria Ocampo, built around a strong contrast between tuberose and oud. Pink lychee, petitgrain and litsea cubeba give the opening fruit and citrus lift. Tuberose absolute, morning rose and styrax create a dense floral-resinous heart, while oud, patchouli, olibanum and castoreum add darker wood, smoke and animalic depth. Composed by Irina Burlakova, the Eau de Parfum is a rich floral-woody structure with a deliberately forceful centre rather than a transparent treatment of tuberose.
