Rose Highland places rose in exposed Highland air rather than a cultivated garden. Azalea, primrose, rhododendron and bell heather broaden the floral field, while basil, pink pepper and clove add green spice and lift. Rose absolute, jasmine and geranium give the composition body, but no single flower dominates. Atlantic oak, vetiver and flag iris form a dry structural base; ambergris and a mineral accord provide a saline, wind-cut finish. It is floral, peppery and coastal, with deliberate rough edges.
